London Borough of Bromley is leading the way as they continue to make Bromley Homes a priority, utilising existing Brownfield sites.
York Rise will see 35 affordable homes built using MMC, which M-AR are working in partnership on, with the London Borough of Bromley this year. Due to start in August 2021 providing the planning is approved, the homes will be a much-needed addition for the local community.
The site in Oprington is a key brownfield site in the Bromley borough, chosen to meet their housing targets for more affordable, quality homes that also make living more sustainable for future generations.
The Council is intending to submit a planning application in the coming months and is currently consulting on the emerging design.
As a mixed plot of flats and terraces, the design of these homes will lend itself to the current aesthetic surroundings, showcasing dual aspect orientation and private balconies with brick-faces, aluminium windows and pitched roofs.
The LB of Bromley have awarded the design order to M-AR alongside, Rivington Street Studios to bring the scheme to life once planning has been approved.
